I am so excited to be offering Fresh 48 sessions for my newborn clients this year!
These sessions are photographed within the first 48 hours of your newborn's life either in your birth space or home. These are a great option for families that want to capture those first moments with their baby. I can remember those first moments with my own children, just holding them tight and just trying to take every little bit of them in- their little smells, perfect little hands and feet, and sweet little noises. I remember thinking that there was no greater love this side of heaven, and just being completely overwhelmed with it. That is what I want to capture!
When you book a Fresh 48 session with me, I will be on call for you from your 37th-41st week gestation, so that I can be available to come to your birth space when you are ready for me! Some families want me to photograph those first moments such as baths, measurements, and bonding with your newborn.
Another option is to have me come once you are settled in your postpartum room after you are delivered and showered and ready to capture those little details you want to remember. This is a great time to document siblings meeting their new baby brother or sister for the first time.
You may wonder how these types of sessions differ from the photography services offered by the hospital? The beautiful thing about hiring your own photographer to come into your birth space is that I can come when it is most convenient for YOU, and capture those moments that are most important to you and your family. I spend 1-3 hours with you depending on whether you are booking a photography only session, or a photography+ video session.
I am so excited about the additions I have made to Little Loo Photography for 2018! I have been headed this direction for some time now, but really wanted to make the transition from my traditional posed newborn work into something that has really captured my heart... the story! I am so drawn to the story behind each family.
I specialized in newborn photography in my first year in business back in 2011 and it really was no surprise as I work in the field of labor and delivery here in Las Vegas. To me there really is no more intimate and life changing moment than the birth of your children. Being a part of helping families navigate through that has been a huge blessing to me, and making the move from my role as a nurse to a birth photographer over the next two years is so exciting for me!
To continue my passion for telling each families story, I have added a few options for my newborn families and this year I have started offering Fresh 48 sessions and am moving away from posed studio newborn sessions to lifestyle in-home newborn sessions.
