For quite some time now I have been dying to learn video and to incorporate it both in my business and my personal life. There has always been something about video that has captivated me, I love the way it captures details you can't always see in photographs, those little mannerisms, people's voices, personalities, and movement. I really want to offer this in particular to my newborn and family clients and so have vowed to devote time to learning this new skill. Recently we have lost two family members that were so great at capturing video of their families lives in film and looking back on these, it was really driven home to me that this is something I wish I had done with my own children. Hearing those family members laugh, talk, and interact on video is truly priceless.
I just finished my first workshop and had purchased a breakout through my favorite photography forum, Clickin' Moms and as with photography the more I have learned the more I realize I have a LONG way to go! When the opportunity came up on the Clickin' Moms forum to join other Click Pros in a group film project, I was so excited to join. We have named it '24 Frames, A Filming Project'.
Let me tell you- there is some crazy amazing talent in this group of ladies and I can't wait to see how it unfolds over the next year. Check out Anita Perminova's beautiful film and feel free to follow the blog circle to enjoy some beautiful eye candy!
So, without further ado, here is my first film in the project with the theme of this one being "Slow Motion". We have a new little puppy named Izzy and she literally goes 24/7 so she was the ideal subject!
